Photo taken by the rescue crews of the lost "Kee Bird". The crew is standing behind the tail of the aircraft in anticipation of rescue. 

This photo shows the crew on the upper left waving to the Cavnar's C54 rescue plane. Notice the oil drained out of each of the 4 Pratt Whitney engines.

Draped over the left tail wing is a parachute. This was the crew´s bathroom facilityduring their "stay" on the frozen lake. This afforded them at least some privacy.
